Seduced By The Dark Side...

What happen when you have a fullie and you pass by trails with humps, bumps and jumps? The dark side in you will be stirred up. Disturbing echoes and whispers will fill your head. Taunting you to defy gravity...

I fell for the temptation. I shouldn't have been up Twin Peak. Shouldn't...Last week I went up there alone after deceiving myself that "I just wanted to go look see only...". And before I knew it, I tried the smallest hump of all near the Shaolin exit. Another mistake that made the dark force within you grow stronger...

And I went up again last Saturday. This time with a buddy. This time on a pretext that I wanted to show him around since that was his first outing in Kiara. Once there, the echoes and whispers got louder and louder... "C'mon. It was easy. You did it last week...Try again...".

Before I knew it, I was already rolling down towards the small hump...

And made the jump...

...and I didn't stop there. I kept rolling down to the next hump, which I discreetly examined on my way up. It was high. About 3 feet. Scared me. So I veered to the left, selecting lower end of the hump. And swooooshhhh...I landed well and still rolling. Wow!!! A feeling and sensation difficult to describe crept in. A sudden craving for more...Big mistake...big mistake.

Went back up for another roll. Same routine. Cleared the small hump. Rolled down further and the evil echoes and whispers came back. "Do the higher hump. Flyyyyy....". Ego bloated. I selected the center of the higher hump. I adjusted the line to hit the higher point right in the center of the hump and.... wheeeeeeeeee... Felt like forever floating in midair. I froze, mesmerized to the sensation of temporary weightlessness. On landing, I lost hold because I wasn't holding the bar firm enough. Brought back to reality when I lay on the ground on my left side. Left arm scraped. Left thigh bruised. Ouch! I got a rubber stamp of approval from Kiara...
